01 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE WHITE COAT

Learning across disciplines.
Showing up for people.

I grew up in Tarpon Springs and earned degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology at Florida State University, graduating magna cum laude with University Honors and Honors in the Major.

From the Tampa Bay area to Tallahassee and now medical school in Melbourne, Florida has shaped my education and service. I hope to build my career caring for people across the state.

WHY MEDICINE

The difference it makes to be heard.

My own experience as a patient taught me how vulnerable it can feel to be in pain, uncertain, and afraid that your concerns are not being heard. A physician who listened closely and kept searching for an answer showed me the value of combining clinical skill with persistence and compassion. That experience continues to shape the kind of physician I hope to become.

LOOKING AHEAD / PSYCHIATRY

Understanding the person as well as the illness.

I intend to pursue psychiatry. Studying psychology alongside biology helped me appreciate how mental health, family relationships, and lived experiences shape the way people navigate illness. I’m drawn to a field where careful listening and scientific inquiry work together.
